Causes Of Body Acne

When individuals think of acne, they necessarily think of the face. But spots can flare up anywhere on the body. You may well experience pimples, whiteheads and blackheads on your legs, knees, scalp, neck, shoulders, arms, back and even on the buttocks. It is not normally believed not to ache, though this depends on the severity of the acne, acne can occasionally itch. It is not pleasant to look at which makes suffers always trying to cover their bodies. This also makes the problem worse. The older generation usually find body acne more irritating as the all prefer to look younger.

The cause of body acne is mostly the consequence of blocked pores which attract dirt and filth that then overpower the skin. Oil, dirt and sweat accumulate in the pores and they promote the growth of bacteria underneath the skin. Body acne is formed almost the same way as facial acne though it is mostly as a result of the friction from clothing and bacteria that causes body acne. Also, it may occur as a result of medications. If one is on drugs and it advised that a doctor should be seen to find an alternative.

Wearing a breathable free material to reduce sweating which irritates the pores helps to prevent acne. Also, allowing enough air circulation reduces body temperature thereby reducing sweating. In this way filth and dirt will not be easily accumulated by the pores in the body. Avoid wearing thick garments as these promote sweating and also cause acne. If your acne persists, it is recommended that you see a doctor for proper prescriptions.
